Yaki and Yumi Title Card!
The title cards are completed, and they look great! I did the drawing, and my very talented friend, Aman Chaudhary did the geinius coloring job. You can check out more of Aman’s work at www.redmask.com or read his blog at www.aman-about-town.com.
For those who do not know, a title card is the first thing your audience will see before your show starts. This is where the main credits will also run. In our case, they will read “created and storyboarded by, Aliki Theofilopoulos, then, directed by, Jun Falkenstein” At the end of the show, there will be a “The End” card as well.
Lastly, I need to say something about how amazing the music is for Yaki and Yumi! We sat down with our composer, Shawn Patterson on Friday and watched the scored show, and it was absolutely phenomenal!! He RAWKS!

I love it! It’s so joyful and gives the impression that fun is just around the corner. The colors are delectable! Yumi looks so yummy! Great work!

wow…it’s got a beginning, a middle, and an end. well i don’t know about anyone else, but i’m ready to see it! tell them to put in on a 24-hour loop, pronto! this project has just blossomed and i can’t wait to see with my very own eyes all of the exciting stuff we’ve been getting snippets of. i’m sure my nieces will love it too…at least the first 500 times i make them watch it with me!
