Here are the wonderful doofi who interrupt Yaki when he is about to FINALLY get to eat. Paul worked his magic on my designs and took them a step furthur into MEGANERDOM!! The characters are voiced by me, so I thought it would be fun to post a soundclip along with these designs (thank you Kyle for your help)

The voice fits the look perfectly. Kinda like those annoying type of nerds who try to sound cool. Pauls details are so creative - even to that little drip of green paint on his shirt!

Actually, that is not green paint, it is a “star trekish” symbol!

About their brown noses - is that a visual metaphore for “brown nosing a teacher”, etc. like nerds often do? Just wondering if there is a connection to that.

No, there is no metaphore there for that, it is simply a stylistic choice, but an interesting thought nonetheless!

And I love your voice over. Aliki, you have a nerd’s lingo and inflection down perfectly…
What are the pinkish/brown strings ending at the ears, on the Cyborg impersonator? Am I just not up on the latest Star Treck jukies accoutrements?

I have heard sometime in the early spring, but I do not know for sure! Hopefully I will get a techy to help me post some of the animatic (filmed storyboard with voices and rough sound effects).

I wouldn’t want to stand too close to these guys while they’re talking without wearing a moisture-proof barrier; I could hear the desperate need for orthodontia in his voice. A genuine “buck-tooth” sound. I can only imagine would it would be like to have to sit down and eat with these two goofballs - YUCK - but I have a creepy feeling I’d be unable to look away…GREAT JOB!

AAAAAAAHHHHH ha ha ha ha! I LOVE it!! I called all the guys around the studio over to my computer to see this. Because we are huge Star Trek nerds! We even watch the original series DVD at work sometime. You gotta love Shatner!
