I was lucky enough to get E.G.Daily as Victor. Oh! she did a fantastic job!. If victor(my dog) ever speaks, it would sound like this.
It took me and my great casting director, Meredith Layne the longest time to cast MR.PAPIER…And here we go-Mr. Fred Tatasciore. The singing french paper, Mr papier was brought to life through fred’s awesome perfomance.
Do you remember Dorothy form TWO WITCH SISTERS? I loooove Scott Bullock so much I had to have him again. He nailed down the strange yet mysterious Gi and Raffe.

Because It needs a lot of energy and concentration. I had two cups of coffee before it kicked off.and it went well!.

Everything wouldn’t go as smoothly as it did without my voice director,Ginny Mcswain. She directed the show with great energy and patience.
Oh, And my composer Brad was there all the time to direct the little songs. He even skipped a half day of work for me.

Finally, I am blogging for “Victor”. I really respect those creators who blog almost everyday.(Jeff DeGrandis!!! Mike Milo!!aliki and anne!!!) !!! How do you guys possibly do that?!:)

The good news is victor is moving forward!. I am tweaking the storyboards and at the same time casting the voice talent. Cutting the story into 6min 40 sec is always a challenge for me. Now I have the material at about 9min. Which part shall I let go? WHich characters Shall I terminate? ugh….

The good news is victor is moving forward!. I am tweaking the storyboards and at the same time casting the voice talent. Cutting the story into 6min 40 sec is always a challenge for me. Now I have the material at about 9min. Which part shall I let go? WHich characters Shall I terminate? ugh….

Before I start to introduce”VICTOR”, I would like to thank “Frederator” for giving me the wonderful chance to make a second short. I hope you guys enjoy it.

VICTOR is based on my real pug “VICTOR”.

I feel more comfortable developing characters from life. so I really know them well and they dissove into the story pretty easy. I observe him everyday and try to capture the essence of his personality.
Here is the rough character desigh of VICTOR.

Of course,like other heroic characters, VICTOR has two sidekicks.
This is BUCK who is based on my real overweight cat “Seymour”.

This is a french guy “MR. PAPIER” who is um…..a paper plane.

BUT! they are not very helpful side kicks.
