This is my title card where the opening credits will go.

I’m currently having an awesome Director (Larry Leichliter) time out my show for me. Already I can see how great it’s going to be!

Above are a few of the backgrounds that Ellen Jin is doing for Tiffany. She’s also currently Art Director on Chicken Little II at Disney and already has an emmy on her shelf. She’s a busy woman. And I’m lucky to have her!

As I promised. Here are the cleaned up versions of Tiffany and Peggy. Aren’t they cute!! (Don’t let Tiffany hear you say that!)

On the Production I’ll be done with the line art for the backgrounds this week. My Character colorist should be getting the line art to color this week and my Bg artist will hopefully get the line art to color a few days after that. I’ll also be starting to slug my board this week.

Adios!

Ok, so I’m a little late, but I had blog trouble before Christmas and couldn’t put up this cool Tiffany drawing. And she’ll give me heck if I don’t put it up. She’s got a temper!

Tomorrow, cleaned up Tiffany for all to see!

Above is two halves of my first BG. I thought about using an experienced, highly talented artist to do BG’s but then I thought…..Hey! I’m an experienced, highly talented artist. (At least that what my kids tell me.)

Above is a copy of my voice recordings which occurred on Friday. I had Colleen O’Shaughnessy, David Busch and Jessie Flower doing all the voices. They were great. Jessie is 11 years old and did Peggy. It was amazing working with such young talent. She’s got a great future. David is a friend of mine whose last gig was acting with Dustin Hoffman! And Colleen, who was the Kid from Krunch and the Kid, did a herculean effort on the doll Tiffany!

Merry Christmas to all you Blog viewers!

Fisheses, my Precious…

Above are two fishes from when Tiffany and Peggy drive their horse into the lake. Their names are Larry and Eric. They have a very small role in this film, but as I told them, there are no small roles, only small fishes.

Never Bored of Boards!

Here are a trio of revisions from last week. My one rule on revisions is IT HAS TO BE BETTER THAN BEFORE! Not equal to, not different, but better. Hopefully I am accomplishing this task.

Just Horsin’ Around

Here’s my latest design for the Horse that takes Tiffany and Peggy for a ride of their lives. Of course not until he’s jabbed with a sowing needle! I had a more cartoony design, but I thought I’d give my overseas animators a headache with this more realistic one.

Giddyap!
