Talk about a dying art form….

Since I was a child I’ve loved comic strips. From Yellow Kid to Boondocks, I’ve read ‘em all. And every few years I get an uncontrollable urge to create a comic strip. Last year I succombed and created Wild Animals which I’m currently negotiating with National Geographic Kids to publish. We’ll see….

ohhhh, how cute! I totally support you!

It is terrible that the comic strip is dying. I used to love waking up every morning as a kid to grab the funnies, but now with everything on the internet kids dont really seem to notice them. That and there just isn’t any good ones out today besides Mutts. Kudos to you. Chris Sanders has a cute strip he created at http://www.chrissandersart.com/www/blog.php

I LOVE Chris’s Kiskaloo. I’ve been struggling to keep my strip updated lately with the amount of freelance work I’ve taken on, I’m down to maybe once a week. I sadly looked through the Sunday funnies the other day and had a handful of strips in mind that SHOULD be in there, but are only on the web…

Thanks for the Chris Sanders tip. I’ve always loved his stuff.

Best of luck Adam,
Love your work, so keep on the fight.

This is cool, good luck to ya!! We’ve tried to get our own strip off the ground, dunno how many people dig it but it’s fun to make. There’s a whole bunch on our blog http://www.mukpuddy.blogspot.com

Still at it are we. Well it’s nice to see some things never change. I have recently jumped into a new strip as well after 10 years or so. (Must be an Old Guy thing) Your style on this one is cool. Nice job keep it up.

OK inspired by your strip I have taken up residence in the RAW section of Fred’s world with my new strip Tiki Island Princess. However I don’t seem to have web skill one and I can not make my strip enlarge as yours does when you click on it. So for all the people you have inspired today such as my self how did you make it do that so as I can be more Henry like.?

Did you make a jpg first before you uploaded it? And is it a 2D drawing you scanned or something created in the computer? Mine was all done in Photoshop and Corel and I don’t know if that makes a difference or not.

Ya mine are .jpgs as well from Photoshop. Maybe you just get better options on the main blog. So… I don’t have a regular email address for you anymore and you are not in the guys who used to draw at the zoo who went to Cal arts from San Francisco directory. I also don’t want you to plaster your home email where a bunch of fan boys can get it. Email me at shawn@totallygames.com and we can trade kid pictures.

Glad you are doing well
Shawn.
