Oppose the Orphan Works Act of 2008!
If you have not heard of the Orphan Works Act of 2008 and how it can affect you and your copyrights as a professional artist, please go as quickly as you can to this informational site produced by the National Cartoonist’s Society (NCS): http://anti-orphan-works-act.com/index.html
I have already faxed, e-mailed, and called my local representative as well as the rest of the representatives in my state of California, and I urge you to do the same! NCS provides an example letter plus all the information you need to contact your representatives…act now! –Mike Gray
