Thom Cat Re-Pitch!
Last Friday I re-pitched Thom Cat to gather notes before beginning the production board stage. The pitch review team from left to right: Larry Huber, Therese Trujillo, Jack Kinman, Eric Homan, Melissa Wolfe, and Kim Keith (Goliath producer Kevin Kolde was of course also there, but managed to swiftly avoid the camera). See how happy everyone is before the pitch!
The pitch begins and I jump right into Thom Cat’s theme song, which is sure to be a crowd pleaser!
I immediately start to lose the crowd…
I continue onward bravely knowing there is still 6 1/2 minutes of pitch left! There must be something funny in there!?!
The crowd grows increasingly displeased…
But still, Thom Cat must go forward! Thanks to everyone’s comments and encouragement! And thanks to Larry and Kevin for taking extra time after the pitch to really go over some details of the traditional animation process we will be using for this cartoon (and sharing their wealth of knowledge with me!).

Ha! Funny stuff! If your posts are funny I doubt your cartoon was stinky! Besides I snuck a look a tthe board and it was fun! We both have anthropomorphic inventors as our lead characters so I guess we think alike! Wait we even have the same first name! Hmmmmmmm.

Thanks Mike! At some point we will have to have a Flavio-Thom Cat direct to DVD feature in which Flavio sues Thom Cat in a drawn out court battle for violating a patent(over 65 minutes of animated court drama)…fun AND educational for the kids!
