Greetings from Thom Cat!
Thom Cat, the smartest cat in the world, makes his animated screen debut dealing with a young bully…who will never, ever pick on little girls again after enduring Thom Cat’s unique form of justice!
Thom Cat first appeared in April of last year in a comic book I did called “Fluff #1″, which I sent to the guys at Frederator after my first (unsuccessful) pitch of The Infinite Goliath (and two other boards). Larry Huber wrote me back and gave me some encouraging and helpful notes on making Thom Cat into a cartoon pitch (which I followed, after revamping Goliath first), and to my amazement here Thom is! I am extremely excited, Thom Cat is a favorite character of mine (and again inspired by one of my most loved pets).
This Friday I go in for the re-pitch of the board to receive notes for the production board phase, I can’t wait!
–Mike

Thanks Manny! I hope to see some of your comics one day! I love the painterly style on Bronk and Bongo (I especially love the “Bronk Smash” mini-poster)…

Thanks for the kind words Mike! If someone wanted to buy a copy (I have only sold them at the APE convention in SF and at local comic shops) they can Paypal me $3 to brermike@yahoo.com and I’ll mail them a signed/sketch copy (so a year from now they can either say “hey I have a copy of the first appearance of Thom Cat from that new hit series on Nickelodeon!”…or “hey, who’s Mike Gray and why did I waste $3 on his crappy self-published humor comic!?!?!”
