And while we’re at this animation music video thing; who could forget Dire Strat’s Money For Nothing?!
This is quite the digital breakthrough music video.
It still looks cool to me and is part of the group of music animation videos I dig.
Check out the TV in the video at the end of the video. It has the legendary MTV spot of the spaceman on the moon with the MTV flag.
Fred; I think you spear-headed this, if I’m not mistaken.
This was produced in 1985 for Dire Strait’s Brothers in Arms album.

Mix master Jeff that is one of the coolest videos EVER made, very good choice. You should hear Weird Al’s Beverly Hill Billys, not as good, but a nice little parody. Today crazy Mr. Marc Ratner showed us a clip of Chuck Jones explaining how to show issolation with a character, good stuff! You stay cool and.. I think you know the rest!
