I can’t believe it!
The Finster Finster Show! episode “STORE WARS” was painlessly cut this morning.
In the session was Larry Huber, Molly Maldonado, Eric Homan and my son Michael. And I thank you all for all your creative input too!
It was a blast of an edit session and one of the best in my career!
We all had fun and it was complete in two hours flat.
The show came back with with a minute to cut. Rough Draft Korea did an excellent job with the animation. Eddie Houchins’ sheets were tight; which helped out a lot.
Sound spotting will happen next Monday. Cool.
Anyway; that’s the Finster update for now.

Hey Cartoon Kids!
Time is ticking away. The Finster Finster Show! episode “STORE WARS” is returning next week from Rough Draft Korea!
I can’t believe it myself. Unbelievable.
From my student film at Cal Arts in 1982; to a full-blown piece of animated art done professionally now.
It’s been a long road.
Anyway; here’s color mark-ups done by Kelly Chan, here at Nickelodeon. It was her brilliant idea to do a 70% dx effect on the cart’s side panels; being it would have been so hard to see shopping cart basket construction on BG’s. The carts actually act as vehicles now.

The Finster Finster Show! “STORE WARS” episode returns from Rough Draft, Korea early next week! Man.
Here’s a midnite shot of the Finster Boys welding up the right rear rocket thruster for one of the battle carts.
