“STORE WARS” SCENE 62
Happy Tuesday Cartoon Kiddies!
Yupppppp! It’s blog time once again!
Here’s Scene 62 rough layouts from Rough Draft you were asking me about.
It’s the ol’ pull the bottle off the head and make Finster look like a bottlehead routine.
I know it’s happened to you before. We all saw you at Food City last week when it happened. I had photos made from hidden camera footage.
I’ll see you on the blog later tonite!
Talk soon!

hey Manny Man!
By no means are you the slowest artist in the world. You’re not even slow. Like Orson Welles used to say on the Paul Mason wine commercials, “I’ll serve no wine before it’s time.”
You’re the same only… “You’ll serve no cartoons before their time.”
Take care Manny! We’ll blog soon.

Hi Jeff, It may be the ol’ pull the bottle off the head and make the character look like a bottlehead routine, but it’s always hysterical! Your posts are great! Always look forward to them! Can’t wait to see the cartoon! - Russ

Hey Russ….
Thanks for the comment and compliment!
I appreciate it!
I like creating and producing “old school” type cartoons. Good old fashion cartoon humor with funny, visual gags.
I can’t wait for you to see the cartoon!
Take care and we’ll blog soon!

This is something I can get behind 100% with you Jeff. I’m a bit of a classic cartoon humor kind of guy too and when Alan and I had finished our first draft some people thought it was a little derivitive but it was something we were making a concious effort for. The classic mentality in cartoons of old has not been done in so long that it’s actually a new convetion to exploit with kids today. Basically, if it worked then it can work now, and everything old is new again. Damn straight….
