Random! Studio Screening #9
Thanks to everyone who turned out for this afternoon’s Random! Cartoons screening at Nick (and thanks to Nick, too, for giving us the space and food, as always). Lots of familiar faces, like……
Above, that’s “Samsquatch” creator Adam Muto and Random!’s line producer, Therese Trujillo.
Crazy Jeff DeGrandis and Gary Conrad, director of “Bronk and Bongo” (between ‘em, these guys were responsible for directing six Random! shorts)
Former Frederator development queen, Melissa Wolfe, and the creator of “Treasure Quest”, Guy Vasilovich.
A motley crew of Andrew Dickman giving me the sign he’s ready to pick Larry Huber’s pocket, and Sylvia Edwards checking the uncommonly clean fingernails of Jerry Beck. Extra points if you spot Eric Robles, Floyd Bishop (who drove up from San Diego), and Jack Kinman, feeding his face.
Actually, the turnout of other Random! creators supporting their bruthas was great – Andrew, Adam H., Jeff, Jerry, Pen, Bill & Raul, Melissa, Eric, and Jim were there in full force. See you at one more screening, folks.
– Eric

Man…I totally wish I could attend one of these. Looks like a look of cool people I’d love to meet.

Do I get the points? I liked all of the shorts, but the stand out for me was Samsquatch. I laughed out loud hardest at that one. Well worth the drive.

I wish I could figure out a way to take this show on the road! Ah well, maybe with the next set of shorts.

That’d be cool, you’d get 6 ping pong ball cars and put one short in each, and send them around the country 6 at a time! Also, I found both Floyd and Eric, what do I win?!

That would be most awesome! To bad I discovered Frederator towards the end of production…I could have made some plans to see the shows.
