Congratulations to Random!’s voice-casting queen, Meredith Layne, as well as to Nick’s Sarah Noonan for their Artios Award in Animated Television Voice-Over wins this week for their work on The X’s. The Artios Awards are “presented yearly for Outstanding Achievement in Casting. The criteria are originality, creativity and the contribution of casting to the overall quality of a project.” They’re handed out by the Casting Society of America. Artios comes from the Greek word meaning perfectly fitted. Here’s to a job well done.
