Rest In Peas, Sunny Honey Bear…
In our painful yet necessary cutting session last week, Mr. Sunny Honey Bear, The Happy Rainbow Dance Team’s cheerful mascot-turned-killing-machine had to go. Ironically, this sketch Anne did was of the two girls facing off against Sunny Honey Bear before we even had to consider cutting his brief yet sadistic part.
Cue: saddest violin music ever.
In town where 6:40’s all you got, every second counts, and as it turned out, Sunny Honey Bear was playing with borrowed time… That’s not to say that I wasn’t gently weeping in Anne’s office as we killed Sunny Honey last week along with 10 or so of our other darlings. Rest assured: The short is still called “Sparkles AND Gloom”. They’ve made the final cut. And to those characters who didn’t dodge the bullet…BETTER LUCK NEXT TIME, SUCKAS!!

Ah yes the dreaded cut! I lost many fantastic sequences and characters due to the cut. I lost a nurse so ugly patients would rather die, I lost a musical number that would have put a CHORUS LINE to shame, and I lost my left sock, has anyone seen that?
