Sparkles “Twinkle” Cycle
I created this for Mr. Larry Huber a few days ago, after he expressed concern that Sparkles’ self-color-line legs might not be easily distinguished in animation. But as he pointed out when I showed it to him earlier this morning, this isn’t a walk cycle, but a “twinkle” cycle.
Just imagine the crazy sound effects we could dub over the animation, making for endless entertainment! *takes breath* Ting-a-ling-a-ling-a-ling-a-ling-a…..!!!
Or maybe just endless annoyance.

I like the “twinkles” too! She’s really cute! Did you draw this directly in Flash or scan and then clean up and trace? Great stuff!

All the animation is done directly in Flash, but the original drawing was done on paper and cleaned up in the computer. Glad you like!

Ann is exactly the kind of cartoonist- filmmaker the universe is seeking. If you express a concern, she takes it seriously and tests out her vision. I’m sure she does this just to prove to her supervisors that she’s right! I love that attitude. It keeps the excitement in the process for all of us no matter how jaded we may be preceived to be. Good job, Ann.
