It’s too bad that this story happened too recently to incorporate into the warp and woof of “Samsquatch”. I’m sure there could have been a scene of Sam being handcuffed to a rollbar in New Jersey. Y’know, like a cryptid Midnight Run . . . if Charles Grodin had been a Chupacabra.
Well, time marches inexorably onwards as we wait to get the pencil tests back. Pins and needles, friends. Here’s another rough walk cycle that was sent along as reference for the animators:

I’ll be joining in on the promotional postcard hullabaloo once my submission gets approved. In the meantime, enjoy these suggestive, William Morris-inspired flowers. Why not.

There’s such a wonderful vibrancy to those background colors. Looks great. Can’t wait to see it with the characters on top.

Marvelous, positively charming cartoonistry within. Forever shall I remember this spot that I have stood upon, this fine day in October as I read of this post.
What a walk cycle! I am mystified and astounded. Nicely done old boy, that’ll teach ‘em to put powder in their boots. And the colors! My god the color and texture. It’s all just so damned swell.
