It’s hard to really properly introduce Leslie Cabarga, a man of so prodigious a talent one doesn’t know where to begin.

Actually, I should begin by saying that Leslie singlehandedly named ReFrederator and designed its distinctive logo.

But, please, that’s nothing. Leslie’s a prolific and interesting author, a luxuriant font designer, a distinctive illustrator, and a fabulous graphic designer; his other talents are just gravy. He describes himself as “part historian, part preacher and part teacher.” And our friend Steven Heller reminded me how long he’s been great; Steve first hired Leslie as a teenager over 40 years ago.

Cartoonists might particularly be interested in Leslie’s book on the Fleischers; I think it’s the only comprehensive biography of them ever done.
