The Naked Trucker and T-Bones

I should’ve made a post about this two weeks ago: Be sure to catch The Naked Trucker and T-Bones show wednesday nights on Comedy Central! It stars Dave (Gruber) Allen (a goof friend of mine who also plays Dark Blade of Fire in MooBeard) and Dave Koechner who you may remember as Champ Kind from Anchorman in a funny modern-day Smothers Brothers kinda thing. It’s a great show with a lot of heart, so be sure to check it out! Also, if you keep an eye on the backup band, you’ll see Andy Paley, who did the music for MooBeard as well as that killer Spongebob album, behind the drums.

Talked to Gruber at the wrap party and he was a really friendly guy! He didn’t seem too annoyed when I asked all kinds of questions about playing Mr. Russo, the guidance counselor on “Freaks and Geeks. There is a Naked Trucker poster at every single subway platform in NYC.
