Production Continues…

January 24th, 2006

drawing1090.jpg

Anne here…we’re continuing production on “Mind the Kitty” at Renegade Studios in Glendale, CA! We’re just finishing up the “technical direction” for the short, which means that the TD guys upstairs are piecing together the shots to give to the animators, positioning characters and backgrounds, and generally making everything all neat and tidy so there’s minimal confusion as we venture forth into the next phase of production!

I am still trying to figure out how to post an animatic clip up here. I have been testing them but they’re not uploading/playing correctly. But I promise I’ll post something soon. [Read more…]

Duck Run!
It’s character layout time on Mind the Kitty! Along with cutting together dialogue tracks and the animatic (During the record, we choose what takes we want to keep, those are cut together, and later, added to the storyboards to create the right timing.) I’m also animating some extra goodies for the folks at Renegade. Run cycles, mostly–like this one!

Enjoy! [Read more…]

Post…About Postcards!

December 13th, 2005

Guess what, faithful Frederator followers… it’s time for all of us at Mind the Kitty to start work on our own blatant self-promotion! (Not that we haven’t been doing that all along…heh heh :P)

Soon, we will all be packing up and heading “overseas”–aka over the Los Angeles River–to Glendale, where the folks at Renegade Animation will start cleanup, character layout, and prepare our stars for Flash animation! We’ll continue to blog from there, of course, so everyone can get the inside scoop about what it takes to be “a Flash Animated CELEBRITY!!!”

Those are Duck’s words…I think he’s a [Read more…]
