Freaky Childhood Art Time!
I was inspired by Jun’s earlier post to show some of the freaky art from my freaky childhood days. As you can see, I was still obsessed with kitties and waterfowl, even at a young age.
The top drawing was done when I was about 10. It’s my cat, Cinders, sprawled on her back by our back door, probably after gorging on a lizard in the garage. Note the bewildered spider approaching her on the right.
The next one, I’m not sure when I drew, but I’m guessing I was 11 or 12. It involves a bender…with penguins. Being crashed by an unruly polar bear. What’s strange is, my friend Vanessa remembers drawing a scene involving penguins and martinis around the same time. PSYCHIC CRAZINESS.

lol…I think I might have been inspired by the “Opus the Penguin” in the newspaper. Or maybe just watching too much TV I shouldn’t have been.
