MTK…is FINISHED?!?
We had our final mix on Tuesday afternoon…Mind the Kitty is officially COMPLETED! It sounds fantastic.
I have to wax philosophical for a moment now…feel free to tune me out 
MTK is the first short I have ever completed. I started numerous student films in my short span as an art student, but none of them ever came to fruition. The most surreal experience of production is watching it with everything put together. Up until that point, it almost doesn’t seem real, and then all of a sudden when you hear a random squeaky sound effect or a music cue or a character blink…suddenly they’re not just beings in your head anymore–they’re alive, and they have their own life now. It is an indescribable realization, and–as silly as it sounds–a dream come true.
I now have to be a dork and thank everyone again for giving me this fantastic opportunity and for being so helpful and enthusiastic…Fred, Claudia, Larry, Eric, Melissa, Kevin, Therese…the produciton ninjas Jack, Mac and Eric…the Flash gurus at Renegade Studios, Scott O for being an awesome co-director, Tom, Vanessa, Trish, Brad, Peggy, John, Ashley, Marina, Molly…I could not have done this without your help. THANK YOU

Punky: Move it, kid. We want to say that it’s been totally awesome!!
Lemurman: …and can we live in the studio for a while? It smells like donuts…and I like donuts…
I’ll keep you all updated on the boys’ (and girls’) hijinks of course–you haven’t heard the last of me! (Or miss Melissa Wolfe for that matter! There’s lots more to come, so STAY TOONED!
