So maybe it’s not quite an hour long, but there’s so much new stuff going on at Mind the Kitty that this post will be a collaboration!

Guess what, faithful Frederator followers… it’s time for all of us at Mind the Kitty to start work on our own blatant self-promotion! (Not that we haven’t been doing that all along…heh heh :P)
So here it is! The first pass at the postcard that will soon be sent around LA (in booklets with postcards from the other 38 OY shorts,) to studios and executives and cartoon enthusiasts and the occasional lemur. (Lemurman has reserved several cards for his family members currently residing at the LA Zoo.)
Soon, we will all be packing up and heading “overseas”–aka over the Los Angeles River–to Glendale, where the folks at Renegade Animation will start cleanup, character layout, and prepare our stars for Flash animation! We’ll continue to blog from there, of course, so everyone can get the inside scoop about what it takes to be “a Flash Animated CELEBRITY!!!”

Since the swag the guys ordered from Cafe Press finally arrived today, I sent them outside to give “Mind the Kitty” some publicity, while I finish up some more special poses and a list of BG and prop breakdowns. “Breakdowns” just means that Eric, my awesome production coordinator and I are figuring out exactly how many layouts, props, and character views need to be designed. It’s a big job, but essential, especially since everyone at Renegade Studios needs to know how much character layout will need to be done in the computer, and how much can be drawn out beforehand.
I hope the boys aren’t getting into too much trouble out there…
