Break…for blogging!
Anne here, just taking a break from refining my rapidly expanding production board to share some development art–painted by an amazingly talented artist named Lou Romano!
Lou has worked pretty much everywhere, right now he’s up at Pixar working on their next project. He’s a friend of my director at Renegade, Nate Pacheco, and Nate was kind enough to ask Lou to do this great painting! I love the colors, and I’m definitely leaning towards using his ideas for the backgrounds/layouts– monochromatic, a little bit painterly–but simple! Any opinions?
Also, I had to post this helpful diagram of Street Cred. Yo. ![]()

hahahaha! you read my comment! i didn’t expect that! so awesome!…. and the french snails of evil. i say yeeeeees!!!…… i know yous buisy, but have you been fiddling with teh guache lately? the lou pic reminded me. you need to put one of your wacky sketches from your sketchbook through the color guache wash. if you did a cross of lou’s style and, say your really weird people with the saggy flesh, that would be wild. hope all is goin grand over there. keep at it am!!!!
