I mean, for a Transformer fan, this is pretty sweet….simplistic, but pretty sweet. Now, if the face is animated while someone is talking to you on speakerphone, then it’s all the better! I suppose the next time the phone kiosk people assautl me in the malls, I’ll just tell them that if they get me one of those phones, then I’ll be happy to sign up!
Until then, I’ll just stick with getting all my figures opened!

I’m curious, what would you guys like to see? I know I run off at the keyboard about Transformers and other 80’s inspired toys. Is there some figure you’d like me to review before you go make that purchase, or maybe you’re wanting to see something else? Maybe trying to figure out a figure customization? Sorry about the lull in posts, gang. I’ve been trying to land a job and I think I’ve succeeded - woohoo!! So, please bear with me as I get into that!
Anyway, I had taken some photos for review and once I got them on the computer I realized they essentially look like poop.
SO, knwoing that I’ll need proper lights for photos, I am going to construct one of THESE A guy by the name of Bill Huber put that online. I found a link to that on a website I fully intend to blog about - (it’s all about customizing and the figures will knock your socks off!)

They’ve got just about everything - from little kids’ stuff and girls’ toys to high end super expensive toys that we’ll never see! Don’t look so confused and surprised! Everybody does audience participation once in a while! Anyway gang, here’s my question;
Now, think back to the days of pining for that one great toy - you waited all year, maybe it was for the birthday or Christmas or any other holiday. What toy was it you waited and wanted most and finally got OR you didn’t get because you’d shoot your eye or some other such nonsense? Don’t be shy, just step up and answer away!
Then when you’re done answering, get back to opening those toys!

All riiight!! We finally have a street date for the new Transformers Animated line - they hit the shelves on June 22. At least this two pack of Prime and Megs does, the rest are set to follow in August. Check the press release HERE
That is going to be a very long wait. Which is partly kinda cool - reminds me of when I was a kid and you’d see a commercial and know new toys were on the way, but you had to wait. So, you’d go to the store every week, hoping that something new was right around the corner. Or you’d have the cardboard back off another figure that had the picture of the whole collection on it. We’ve almost come full circle with toys. Next year I’m sure we’ll see a bag of Sticks N Stones.
Yes, I laugh at this, but I assure you if I see them at Comic-Con this summer, I’ll be buying a bag of them! Maybe I’ll get one for my daughter and we’ll make some little cork critters together.

Yeah baby!! Here’s the good stuff - a bunch of the new Animated toyline. Hasbro’s got some new unseen figs in there - Black Arachnia, Soundwave, and my guess would be Junkion (rumored to be voiced by Weird Al). It even looks like the “leader size” Bulkhead has a swappable head with one of the evil characters in the show - the Headmaster! (pretty cool!) In case y’all can’t tell, I’m a little on the excited side about this new line of figures. The art style is fantastic, and the show is really well written - although a complete departure from the original series. Check out TFW2005’s gallery HERE!
