Here’s an update on my Radiator Piece in the Radiator Show in Las Vegas. I’m pretty happy with how this little guy is turning out. Overall, it’s mos def a fun piece.
Perhaps if I end up not selling it, I can submit it to those awesome dudes o’er at I am 8bit for their next year’s show!
In case some of you might be in Vegas come August, here’s some info on the Radiator Show:
AVANT GALLERY

August:
Radiate Gallery: (artistic takes on the radiator)
featuring:
John Fanok
Scott Wood
Mark T. Zeilman
The Family Sorvillo
Destrocto Ironworks
Cristina Natsuko Paulos
Jeaux Janovsky
js & stb
plus many more Vegas artists!

There’s a whole bunch of neat artists involved in this show.
For instance, Cristina Natsuko Paulos.
Talented artist (and my other half). Check out her stuff, it’s creepy and beautiful at the same time.
Curious & Interesting Tales
Special thanks goes out to Tamarisk Marie for organizing the Radiator Show.
I gotta go finish up my Pirate Babies, so I shall leave you all with a tiny piece of “Urban Legend” on the PLO Show.
Legend has it, that I, Jeaux Janovsky, have been using Actual Rum instead of water mixed into the paint to create those terribly cute and ugly lil’ bilge rats.
And no, I haven’t been spongin’ on the bottle either matey!
Must keep painting Pirate Babies,

That Mario Kicks A** Jeaux! Awesome job man!

POWER UP!

Dude, this is great. I love that you’ve taken a character that everyone is familiar with and given it your own stylized treatment. That’s wicked pisser. I need to do more of that in my parody pieces…

PS: The mushroom’s expression is the best!

Thanks guys! glad you both dig the Mario rendition!
I’ll post more come closer to finalizing the radiator piece!
Cool!
