I was recently invited to participate in an art show at Giant Robot’s New York gallery/store! The show is called Panelists V: Comics Artists on Walls and will be coinciding with the always fantabulous Mocca festival this year! It looks like it’s going to be an amazing, promising show with a lot of talented indie comic super stars. I’m very proud to be a part of it.

I’m trying out a new look for my autobiographical slice of science fiction life webcomic, Raising Me, in which I ink the comic entirely in Flash, w/ sprucing up done in Photoshop. Not entirely sold on it, but it turned out better than I thought.

At a press conference earlier today, Jeaux Janovsky officially announced his unexpected Candidancy for the Channel Frederator 2006 “Cartoonist of the Year” high profile title & position.
When asked why he decided to attempt, possibly his most ambitious (some would claim “stupid”) publicity stunt to date, and why he decided to run in the first place, Senamator (a combination of the words Senator and Animator) Janovsky retorted, “ I don’t see anyone else here running for the Title! Do John K ., John Lasseter, Bill Plympton or Craig McCracken have a campaign team?!?! NO!!! I do! They have been working non-stop, sometimes days on end with no sleep, just to make sure that the American People know my name, my face, and more importantly, my drawing style! I got the Golden Pencil B*tches and I’m going for the Gold! The Court is in my Ball Now!!!”
