Above is an original BG for the set on Wham!Bam!Pow! Action Hour! where Krunch and the Kid do their daily show. I thought it needed a little more and also to look less theatrical. Sooo….

Above is my revision. I went online and found some cool pictures of TV soundstages and went from there. I sure hope it looks better to all of you out there in blogland!

I’m also mixing my voices today. Putting them all together on one track. Fun, fun, fun!

I apologize for not being more vocal about your posts. I can’t speak for everyone, but I think it’s because we haven’t heard much about your characters or story. I don’t want a bunch of “0 replies” to get you down. Why don’t you tease us with some character bios or a little of the story? Don’t give it all away or spoil the end, but at least wet our whistle.

I have been reluctant to reveal the story but if you insist…

It’s the story of a 500lb monster and a nine year old kid who are cartoon actors in a cartoon world. They are the stars of Wham!Bam!Pow! Action Hour with Krunch & the Kid!, a high testosterone, action driven, over the top show that airs live each day. Their relationship is that Krunch is really the child and the Kid is the adult. Krunch is like a 500lb Judy Garland. Emotional, child-like, tempermental. The Kid is sort of McCauley Caulkin working kid actor type. He’s always trying to get Krunch to behave. He’s still a kid, though and usually he descends into some Id induced behavior and things really get out of control.

When it goes to series (Hopefully) there will be a lot of 4th wall stuff with them on the set of their show and cartoon kids watching them.

I hope that fills you in better. Thanks for caring.

I was wondering where this was going. That will help me appreciate pictures of directors and backstage areas more. I’m looking forward to seeing more :) I’m pitching next week and I know what you mean about not wanting to spill ANYTHING.
