Dance Like No One’s Watching!

July 30th, 2007

parademodelsheet.jpg

Here’s a kinda model sheet from around the time that I did my film “Parade”. Did I mention that I’ve been going through all my old stuff lately? It’s amazing how much paper and plastic traditional animation accumulates. I guess that’s one good thing about paperless productions.

Tales From The Archives!

July 25th, 2007

Here’s an image from an ancient show on Nickelodeon called “Kid’s Court”. It was early in the career for Tina Potter and Albie Hecht. They’ve both gone on to hugely successful careers.

Blue Monday in NYC!

Here’s an image from a few years ago. Coffee shops are a favorite theme of mine. They’re a place where a fella can sit alone, sip some strong coffee, and get his thoughts together. Now we go to cafes and coffee houses. That’s OK, the coffee’s better and you can sit even longer without getting any dirty looks from the counter man.

More From The Parker Park!

July 18th, 2007

tuffysparrows.jpg

These tuff guy sparrows are the glue that holds the park together. Or you could say they’re the oil that keeps the park machine humming. Whenever you need a message sent, need a piece of information, or want to get something done, you call the Sparrows. They’re more characters from “The Parker Park Posse”, the show I’m developing with Marc Catapanno at Underground Garage. Don’t forget to check out the terrific Mondo Primo Blog while you’re there!

Meet Roscoe and Stinky!

Roscoe Squierrel and Stinky the Rat that is. Two of the characters from “The Parker Park Posse” a show I’ve been developing over the years with my good friend Marc Catapano. Marc is a great writter, Idea Man, and Musicoligist.
He’s currently producing content for Underground Garage.

Gross Brothers Return!

July 13th, 2007

grossbros02.jpg

C’mon, you know the episode. It’s the one with the empty house and the mysterious lights that go on at midnight. Or maybe it’s the one with the house that everyone says is haunted and the Gross Bros. except a challenge to go inside.
Whatever it is, you know by the end of the show the Gross Bros. will have the mystery solved!

Xmas in July!

July 11th, 2007

asterisk-back.jpg

NYC is sweltering, so what better time to post the Xmas card design that I did for the animation studio Asterisk. Brian O’Connell and Richard O’Conner are the creative forces here where they produce top quality commercials, TV work, and Indy Film projects.

Country Classix Postcard # 3!

July 9th, 2007

shortlife.jpg

Here’s another in my series of “Country Cassix” Postcards.
All the titles come from old timey country songs.
This poor chap’s broken hearted because his sweetheart’s just left on the train. I don’t think she’s coming back either.
Got a favorite classic country song title?
