That’s what Super Sam and Spot are doing after a long day of chasing Big City’s most notorious masterminds.
And that’s what I’ll be doing, taking a break that is. No posting from me for the next 10 days. Just enough time to clear out the cobwebs, dust off the sketch book, and refeul the jets. Have a great 4th of July!

Here’s an image that I did for my friend Eric over at American Montage. Eric is a terrific editor, filmmaker, and web content producer. In the ever changing world of editing and film production, Eric’s company has flourished for over twenty years!
The Dribbles were underwater characters created for a show on Nick Jr for super producer Kathy Minton. Kathy’s done it all from award winning shows for kids to award winning shows for grown ups. She’s currently producing content for Next New Networks.
All the art work was hand inked with a brush and painted on cels.
Here’s something I’m working on with the good folks over at Mud Coffee where the coffee is always fresh and strong. They are hosting a benefit this friday (June 22, 2007) in NYC for a very worthy cause. You can find out the details at their site.
Meet Al Gator, Nick Hippo, and Wendy Weasel, the secret agents from Jungle Force. Wendy is a Kung Fu master, Nick’s the mega strong man, and Al is crazy like a… well just crazy! Together they almost always succeed in the battle against evil Eco criminals who would upset the delicate ballance of the Jungle.
Here is Auturo saying good night to his little rooster. Auturo fixes cars in Brooklyn. One of Auturo’s friends from the country offers Auturo a rooster in lieu of cash to fix his truck. Auturo is not sure what he is going to do with a rooster but he wants to help out his friend.
Here’s some art from the “Nick Days” project that was produced by Corey McPherson Nash in Boston. The animation was done in a limited Flash style and had to be churned out very fast. I ended up doing about 30 days in all and it was a really a lot of fun.
I had breakfast with Ken Kimmelman last week. Ken is a terrific animator, director, and filmmmaker. He’s had great success with his latest film “Hot Afternoons Have Been in Montana”, with screenings all over Europe and the US. As a matter of fact, Ken is off to Paris next week. Bon Voyage Ken!
