Introducing, the first color models for Girls on the GO!
Kat’s eye color will be green, but other than that, I am really happy with how these have turned out. The only one I haven’t decided on, is Tess. There is the tendacy, to make a character like her be dressed in all black, or dark blue…but she is NOT all doom and gloom…so I was thinking of maybe making her a little more funky and artsy, than goth.
Peeps out there, in Frederator-land, what do YOU think??

They all look great. As to goth-girl, I’d make her darker, but more graphic-y too. Maybe art-girl is right. But most art-girls I know wear a lot of black. Then again, she’s perkier than most of the art-girls I remember from high school. Not that you and Jun and Anne and Diane and Yvette and Niki aren’t perky, just the opposite. Oh jeeez, I have no idea what I’m talking about, I’m no artist. I’m gonna go back and be sick. Color it *your* way.

The colors looks great! The only thing I would change is the girl on the bottom left’s skin color. I think it may look better lighter colored. Sorry aliki i forgot her name lol But am glad you’re working on the color! -Steve

Thats why!! She didnt look like it to me. Mabye if you gave her brown hair she’d look more African American??

Jun, I know that. But this girl doesnt look African American. If she had brown hair it would look more apparent.

Stephen, I’m sorry, I know you’re just a teenager and all…but you need to be a little more open-minded about what people are “supposed” to look like. Or at least, a more polite way to put it might be to write, “In my opinon…”

I think that the middle version of Tess is the best but I think it might look even cooler if you added one really bright warm color, such as hot pink for the stripes on the stockings or maybe an electric blue if you don’t want a warm color. Just a hint of color. Also if you could do it to balance that color I would put a small elastic band on her braids and make it the same color of the stockings. Just a thought! Generally the color looks great!

I am not an animator so I think they ALL look amazing!!! I am just so impressed at how these girls have come to life.
The tall one with the really dark hair kind of looks like me.

One of my best friends is African American and she wears her hair with beautiful blond streaks plus I have had the privilege of hearing the voice track and Gypcy’s voice is unmistakenly African American - I love it!!!

i liked the pic in the middle of tess, but i really like the idea of adding just a touch of color somewhere else. but they look really good. by the way, i hadn’t gotten that gypcy was african american either.

i think gypcy looks amazing! so very beyonce. color choice with her i think is spot on. there are so many shades of skin in the world and i think this matches her character perfectly. i can’t wait to hear her and the other girls with voices! also , tess with the colors on the right could look great with a back skirt and a blue shirt. just switch the top and bottom colors. just a thought.
