Thursday night’s wrap party was a blast! I have been working a lot, so I was pretty tired, but after a red bull, a couple cookies, and absorbing all the exciting energy in the room, I was able to pep up and celebrate with my fellow creators and crew. Here’s a pic of me with Quinton Flynn (voice of Spencer) and Frankie Ingrassia (voice of Tess), courtesy of Eric Homan. Whoopee!
Last night at Nickelodeon Studios, there was a screening of four shorts, including “Girls on the GO!”. I was soooooo nervous, and excited for an audience to see the film for the first time. But, I was delighted to hear people laughing, and reacting to all the right moments. Frankie Ingrassia (the voice of Tess) and Quinton Flynn (the voice of Spencer) were in the crowd, and it was so cool for me to get to share it with them. Congrats to all of last night’s flimmakers on their achievements, and a big thanks once again to all the people who made this possible for us.
btw…the image above is “the long lost title card” that I originally designed, but no one could find…well the film has been completed, and title cards were recreated, but I just found the “lost” one…ah well!
Yesterday we made the final mix for “Girls on the GO!”! Shawn Pattersononce again created an awesome soundrack for the show, and I am particularly in love with the theme song. (Shawn Patterson was the composer on my other short, Yaki and Yumi)
I am so so pleased with the outcome of this film, and I am so proud of all the hard work that many talented people put into it. Once again, thank you to all the party people at Frederator and Nickelodeon for your support, and this amazing opportunity!! I feel so lucky!
I know I haven’t posted for a while, but that’s about to change, as I have just dicovered a couple disks full of GOG artwork! This image just cracks me up! I don’t want to say too much about it, as I will ruin the story, but those of you who have been to L.A., or live here will probably recognize this scene, even if you don’t recogonize the super hero (the amazing Captain Glacticon) or the “wanna-be”.
Hello party peeps! I am here to report, that I am married, and back from my honeymoon (it was amazing!!)…thought I would share a polaroid pic a friend of mine took of me dancin’ it up! While I was away, Jun was nice enough to hand out stickers at the Comicon, to promote Girls On the GO!, and the new website www.girlsotg.com! (Thank you again Jun and Stephen!) Now that I am back in town, you can be sure I will be posting more GOG artwork and other fun stuff!
Introducing, the Girls on the GO! website!!!!!! Thank you to Stephen Levinson, for designing the beautiful website, and to Jun Falkenstein for launching it!!! Also thank you Jun, for taking the Girls on the GO! and Yaki and Yumi stickers to Comic-on with her…Personally, I will have to miss The Con this year, as I will be preoccupied with entering into marital bliss!
