Calling all cover fans.
Being an album cover fan is probably the sole provence of aging baby boomers like me who lovingly remember the days of wondering whether to spring the extra buck for the stereo version (OK, classic illustation freaks count too). But my friend Matthew Glass’ blog also goes for the exotic, the strange, and the sexy.

Great link! Yeah, well, that’s another dead art form I’ve collected more or less by default (meaning I’ve got stacks and stacks of this stuff even though I can’t recall actively seeking it out any more than I can imagine geting rid of any of it). Lovin’ the stuff from the 50’s and 60’s!

I came to the party late due to my age, but I always liked the cover for “Street Survivors” by Lynard Skynard. Based on what happened to the band shortly after they shot the cover, I always thought it was a freaky thing. http://topwinyl.pl/sklep/grafika/365.jpg
