Your call.
Lately, a lot of us at the Frederator Blogs have been posting with links to YouTube and Google Video. I kind of like the quality of the Google player more, but YouTube is pretty convenient because you can play the video directly from the blog window.
So, my question to all of you: Do you have a preference? (YouTube here, Google Video here.) Do you care? Do you even notice?
We’ll do whatever you like best.

I think the actual video quality is pretty much the same, but you can post Google videos just like YouTube ones. What you have to do is click the “Post to MySpace” button, then click the “Embed HTML” link. Then copy and paste the code from there where you would post the YouTube embed stuff and you should have a Google video on the blog!

From a blog and easy of use view, YouTube wins.
Having the YouTube video in a blog or article make me more inclined to watch the video. Also, if I am just scanning a blog it is easier to spot a video with YouTube then a link to Google Video.

With GoogleVideo, you don’t have the option to post comments or rants at whomever submitted a vid there, but on the plus side, I like the option to download an .mp4 I could play on my PSP. YouTube though is a lot easier to use, though I have to get used to the limitations of their service such as the 25fps standard for all their vids.
