Flavio is locked too!
Finally got the film locked and it came out great!
It was pretty easy to cut down as I was only 20 seconds over.
Animation was provided by Wang Films and they did a fantastic job!
In other news, I’ve decided that I want to explore recasting Flavio’s voice…I like my voice but in the end I am not sure it goes to 11.
More on that later.
P.S. If you don’t get the “11″ reference watch Spinal Tap

Sorry man! I want to wait until it’s all done before I show it. A film is only a film to me when it has music and sound effects.

Hey Stephen! Yeah that’s right you do! I just might take you up on that! Mr. Frank came out great by the way. I am very excited to let you see it! I showed it to my brother last night and he laughed a lot more than I even thought he would. Pretty cool!

I’m glad it is meeting your expectations. I’m looking forward to seeing it. As for the voice, all I know is that your voice sounded great on the original short that I saw. So don’t be to hasty to switch.
Yes I agree Flavio needs MUSIC and sound. Especially music…lol.

Thanks Frank, yeah I also liked my initial voice but I think for me the issue is not so much whether I did a good job or not but more the fact that I can’t hide my adult voice when Flavio is supposed to be around 17 or so. With me doing it, he sounds a bit too old.

Hey great! So when can we see it?
On December 13th, 2006 at 12:00 am
Hi Mike–
If you are still looking to recast the “Flavio” voice–give John Mariano’s audition a second listen–I ran into him today at a callback; we talked about the film and he started doing a Flavio riff and it was very funny! (he’s got all the lingo down , ya know…)
Stephen’s Greetings & Happy Holidays!

Yeah I’ll have to do that, John does have an awesome voice. I especially like that he knows Italian. I just saw he had a role in Barnyard which i watched last night.
