Meet Shaun Cashman

Up next on our hit parade of Fanboy and Chum Chum crew members is the show’s supervising producer, Mr Shaun Cashman. While world famous for directing the original “Fanboy” short as part of Random! Cartoons back in 1923, Shaun can also tell you about his work on The Simpsons, King of Hill, Billy & Mandy, and Grim & Evil, for the last of which he co-won an Annie Award in the Best Directing in a TV Production category. He’s truly Eric Robles’s right-hand man on this series, and you couldn’t find a better guy for Team Fanboy. Wish him luck.

What can I say? I met Shaun back at Cartoon Network and I knew that not only was he a nice guy but a very talented guy as well. It’s no wonder he moved on from director to Supervising Producer on Billy and Mandy. So when I got the thumbs up for the Fanboy short and they asked me if I was going to direct it. I said, “what for!” If I can hire my dream team, why not get them. As a result I called up my buddy Shaun and luckily he said, “Yes!” Thank you Shaun.

Yes! Shaun is what I would look like if I was a tall Caucasian and I am what Shaun would look like if he were a 5’8 Latino. It’s like looking into the mirror.
