Off To SIGGRAPH
March 27th, 2008
We just got the good news that “Fanboy” – the original Random! Cartoons short – has made it into SIGGRAPH 2008, pretty much the world’s top festival for computer animation. Congratulations to Eric Robles and the cast and crew. If you get the chance to attend the festival (in L.A. in August), you’ll get a small taste of what’s to come with Fanboy and Chum Chum, the series. And you’ll also ask yourself, “Why isn’t Nickelodeon airing this?”

Awesome news! I’ll be sure to check it out. Maybe we can set up a Frederator party during Siggraph to help celebrate?!? Maybe a “Drinking & Drawing LA”?

Thanks guys! We are in the thick of it all over here on Fanboy and Chum Chum holding up the Fanboy flag. It is an honor to be recognized in any way for the hard work that we do so when these things happen it really does feel great. Fanboy would be nowhere without the entire crew of people that made it happen so thank you to all at Frederator, Nick, my crew and the original Red Eye crew. As for your question Mukpuddy, I not sure Nick will even air this short on the Network so you might have to just try to catch it at a festival. And Floyd, I’m always up for both drinking and Drawing.
