Fanboy and Chum Chum

CG and 2D Fanboy Backround
Hello all!
Well with the Fanboy short coming to a close I wanted to thank all of my friends for all the hard work that they have all put into Fanboy. Two of the many talents on my team are Chad Woods and Caesar Martinez. Chad, Caesar and I met on Nickelodeon’s “The X’s” and I was blown away by the designs that Caesar was doing and colors that Chad was doing. So, when I was given the green light for my short I asked these two if they would bless me with their skills to make my short look great. Chad, Caesar and I began to experiment with a flat 2D background design look with CG characters and to my surprise it worked. The thinking is that it should look like a TV set with fake backgrounds and it was also great because it didn’t kill us with all the extra modeling of Background junk. Instead the guys at Red Eye just pasted Caesars and Chad’s original Backgrounds on to the four walls of the store and on any of the props. Of course Josh Mossotti and Ian Adams at Red Eye kicked butt and did some amazing modeling on all the things that were CG and with all of their forces combined it came out great. There is so much work that goes into every project and I just wanted to thank everyone for all the extras and love that you have all put into our short. When I ran out of ideas for colors for Chum Chum Chad came to my aid and helped guide Lee Nelson and I with Chum Chums new color. Thanks Man!

This is a little extra treasure BG that Caesar and Chad did in imaginating Fanboys world. Sweet!
