Look at all the Froyds! The world’s greatest Animal Pyschiatrist has really inspired Jaime Diaz, but he’s not the only one. In coming posts we’ll give you a peek (peak?) at the many Lulu Lovecrafts, Nurse Ducketts, Raging Bullfrogs and Bossy LeCows that Jaime keeps drawing and drawing and drawing. Wonderful characters. I’ve always admired Jaime’s funny cartoon drawings. Along with Bill Burnett’s unique comical writing this cartoon should be very entertaing.

Hi! Is Jaime Diaz “the” Jaime Diaz from Buenos Aires? I work in publicity and I was a big fan of his work when he was here. His Clio winning commercial “The Little Ant and the Elephant” was hilarious. The only gold Clio for Argentina. Please let me know if he is the same person. I’d love to get in touch with him, so I can keep following his work. As an Argentina, I’m very proud that such an outstanding artist is representing us in the USA.

Thank you for responding my message. We met once when you worked on the commercial for Banca Nazionale del Lavoro. I was on the BNL team. I’m really interested in knowing what you have been doing since you left Buenos Aires and please tell me about Dr. Froyd. Will it be airing in Argentina also?

Thank you Bettina! I didn’t know that I have fans like you. BNL must have been about a decade ago. Since then I’ve been doing a lot of crazy cartoons–Duckman, Rugrats, Real Monsters, and of course ChalkZone at Nickelodeon. Since Dr. Froyd will be on nick it will of course come to Argentina and all over the world, although it will probably play in America first for a while. Thanks for writing!
