On August 30th, 1964, Bob Dylan met the Beatles for the first time at their suite in the Hotel Delmonico in New York City. It was here that Dylan introduced the English pop stars to marijuana cigarettes; an encounter which undeniably changed the course of popular music in the 20th century. Here is the true story:

I think this may be the first time my brother saw a MM39 episode before I did. We both watch it (and it’s probably the only thing on the internet or TV that we both watch and enjoy), but I’m usually the one to say, “Hey, it’s Thursday!” But he’s a huge Beatles fan and was highly anticipating this one. And it was great, too! I love Ringo seeing the Blue Meanie and Yellow Submarine in the background, haha. And speaking of anticipating, I can’t wait for next week, because The Music Nerds has been one of my top favorite episodes so far, and I can’t wait to see Vic and Cougar again, haha. Which makes me wonder if we’ll ever see Penalty and Lloyd again, heh. Damn, I gotta find a way to wait out this week..

I loved this, being a HUUUUGE Beatles fan. I saw the post about its coming months back and getting excited. Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU!!! Probably the best Meth Minute ever…please, sir, may I have some more Beatles? lol
