This morning I was a guest lecturer for a class of sixth-graders. The goal was to teach them a little about cartoons by having each of them animate a section of a short film. I asked them to draw five frames of themselves dancing and they did a great job. Take a look:
I drew these a long time ago, with the intention of making a Metallica video. Never got around to animating it, but thought I’d share the stills anyway.
Hey, I won’t be at the Pixelodeon festival because it’s in L.A. and I don’t live there. But if you do, than you should go!

Why do I keep making cartoons about rock music? Because I love every aspect of it. For example: the other night was like a “Meth Minute 39″ cartoon come to life: “Rutsey”, NYC’s premier Rush cover band rehearsed. We are…raw.
