The Mammal Group: Tom Forget
And the final founder of Mammal Magazine is Tom Forget. Tom fancies himself a traditional illustrator, a descendent of the lost era of skilled commecial painters. His inspirations are obvious from looking at his work: B-movies, horror comics, sultry dames, and heavy metal music. So obsessed is he with these subjects that he refuses to waste his time with what he calls “legitimate culture”.
He’s also a talented designer who’s been laying out stylish educational books for years as well as a authoring many of them. Tom knows so much about comic book history that when he was an intern at Marvel Comics, the writers would ask HIM about timeline chronology and character biographies. Tom is an unrepentant nerd who lifts weights regularly. He is a complex man. Enjoy his site.
