Girls and Sports
Last night I met up with Andrew Feinstein, artist and co-creator of syndicated comic strip “Girls And Sports”. It can be seen in over 125 newspapers across the country and now they are expanding it into an animated series!
I asked him to draw a picture of me in my sketchbook. I think it’s an uncannily accurate representation of me… except for the part where the girl is impressed.

Andy worked on two unreleased Frederator TV movies for Nickelodeon in the late 90s and we’ve been a fan ever since.

While I don’t think “The Electric Piper” has been available since it first aired, you can get “Globehunters” on DVD. In any case, it’s good to see Andy having so much success with his own work.

Wait a minute, is it footsteps coming up the stairs I hear? Must be a horde of admiring females coming to knock on your door.

Actually Eric, The Electric Piper never aired or been released. Globehunters aired once during a short-lived DIC block on Nickelodeon (don’t ask) and released for a minute on DVD. Amazon says it’s available, but I actually doubt it.
