Since we’re somewhere between an exciting Election Day and Christmas, I thought it would be an appropriate time to blog about this old cartoon. A couple years ago, the political magazine The New Republic asked me to do an animated Christmas card. There’s not too much to explain beyond that.

One friend of mine said the forced inter-species affection is kind of creepy. If you want to think that deeply about it, sure.
