One of these is going to be the final Wendy design for our cartoon “Cavalcade of Laffs”. Isn’t it amazing how by only changing just the hair color, we get a completely different impression of her personality. It’s still up in the air at the moment. That’s the great thing about working in Flash; I can complete the entire cartoon and still change her hair at the last minute. (Although we’re leaning towards brown)

Ok, this is weird… Recently a Manhattan production company hired me to come up with some character concepts for an upcoming animated instructional video on Infant CPR. They wanted the characters to be both cute and also clearly illustrating the right way to help a choking baby.
The results are creepy and strangely symbolic of something…I’m not sure what.

So I’m working on this new cartoon that will be called “Cavalcade of Laughs” until/unless we think up a better title. It was conceived one night while drinking absinthe in Portugal with my expatriate writer friend Ryan Van Winkle.
Basically, it’s your typical story of an enormously wealthy but clearly insane ram from England who fancies himself a comedy talent agent. To balance out the madness, he hires a recent college graduate named Wendy to be his intern. His comedians are always bizarre and the venues he books them in are even worse.
Well, after some storyboard revisions Fred Seibert gave us the greenlight to make episode 1 and so the first thing I did was get together a bunch of talented voice actors to record our script. They all did an amazing job bringing this script to life.
