Demolition, man…

I finally had a spare moment to put together a new demo reel. It took me 10 hours to compile 6 years worth of cartoons into 2.5 minutes. Check it out! And if anyone with alot of demo-reel experience has any suggestions, please let me know!

The Whirlwind

Hello Fredheads! I’m Dan Meth, welcome to my first blog ever! Here’s a quick recap of the whirlwind of events that led to me sitting at my own desk here at Frederator HQ:
9/05: Fred Seibert sees a cartoon I did spoofing American Idol and thinks it’s funny. He writes me an email.
11/05: I pitch an “Oh Yeah! Cartoons!” short to Fred. He isn’t that interested. But then Channel Frederator airs one of my cartoons.
12/05: I come in and pitch another “Oh Yeah! Cartoons” short to Fred. I think he fell asleep during that one. But then Channel Frederator airs another one of my cartoons.
3/06: Out of the blue, Fred asks me if I want to move my studio into the Frederator office! Hell yeah!
So that brings us to today. On the blog, I’ll be sharing the in-process excitement of all my client and Frederator-related projects (9 at the moment!)
