Charity by Numbers, a benefit art auction for The Alliance for Children’s Rights, features vintage paint-by-numbers pieces reinterpreted and transformed by a jaw-dropping lineup of leading underground fine artists including Mark Ryden & Marion Peck, Tim Biskup, Gary Baseman, Todd & Kathy Schorr, Camille Rose Garcia, Michael Hussar, Shag, Christian and Rob Clayton, Shepard Fairey, Andrew Brandou, Gary Panter, and many more.
The auction will be held on eBay from February 10th and end on Saturday, February 17th @ Midnight Pacific Time.
Going down to LA’s “Little Tokyo” is dangerous for my wallet… Especially these super cute Monokuro Boo monochrome piggies from San-X (a division of RM Licensing. Playground Ghosts is a webcomic ring of sorts which hosts many fine and fantastic comics for your viewin’ pleasure, but mostly what I love about it is Chris Yates’ adorable sculptures in the Playground Ghosts Toy Shop.

With all the excited buzz around Pendleton Ward’s new short, Adventure Time, I thought it’d be a fun little reminiscin’ kinda thing to post his uber-classy “Butt Dance” (staring Bueno the Bear). I have spent many dark nights playing this short on loop, cackling madly to myself.

Do yourself a favor today and check out the opening to Ruby Gloom. It’s a lot of fun. The people over at Nelvana sure know their way around flash. An official Ruby Gloom website is up and running with clips and music. Lets hope that one day Ruby Gloom will be gracing the TV of American audiences.
