To those of you who remember Chilly Willy, the asexual penguin, here is the theme song that will be stuck in your head all weekend. I don’t know how many times I tried to make a phone in the snow as a child. Also check out the original Tex Avery short, I’m Cold, on Daily Motion, that was the first appearance of Chilly Willy. For those of you who live in the South, his likeness is replicated on every grocery store and gas station window advertising ice still to this day.

Have I ever mentioned how much I love Bandai’s delightful micro-series, Panda Z? WELL I DO. Last year at WonderCon I spent waaaaay too much money on a very extravagant diecast Panda Z action figure….but I mean honestly HOW COULD I NOT?!?

Check out the student film called Fairy Berry. The CG work is by Thomas Guittoneau, Yacine Sefsaf, Virginie Giroux and Ho Hung Yu. What’s nice about it is how stylized they made the CG work.

I am hard pressed to recall what exactly I did before YouTube was invented. I certainly didn’t watch such amazing existential spanish videos featuring Elmo and a squeezy-pig. Translation of the captions (as far as I can reckon) (Please correct me if I’m wrong!!) is:

Oh my goodness. Please watch this adorable video set to a German children’s song about a wee little crocodile named Schnappi. I love him. I love him so much! Apparently this song was a huge sensation in Europe, like “Crazy Frog”, spawning remixes and other nonsense.
