Noozles!

Thanks to Youtube and to people posting anything and everything, watching the cartoon shows of your youth is just a click away. And this was proof to me when I found one of my favorite shows as a snot faced little kid, Noozles. For those of you who grew up on Nick Jr. before the days of Blues Clues and original programming, you will most likely remember Noozles. This imported anime was about the adventures of a 12-year old girl named Sandy and her koala friends, Blinky and Pinky, who are from the extradimensional realm of Koala-Wala Land.
Looking back at the show now, it was pretty advance for your average six year old. What with the whole traveling through different universes, and trying find out what happened to Sandy’s missing dad and granddad. But because of its cuteness and depth, it deserves to be noted as Radical Cute. For those of you who don’t know the show check out its wikipedia page for more info. And for those who remember it check out part one and part two of a full episode!

Whoa, Noozles! I totally forgot about them. My sister used to love this show…koalas were her favourite animal.

Thanks for posting this up, Hadley
It WAS pretty advanced. I had completely forgotten about it until a friend mentioned it only a few weeks ago, and now this is my first glimpse in years. Kudos to your exquisite taste! Yay children of the ’80s

That cartoon was just plain creepy. Didn’t they grow koalas in giant test tubes or something?

It’s funny enough that Nickelodeon not only aired this koala series from Japan onto their network, but another koala series from Korea, both having nothing to do with Australia itself. XD
Remember kids. Real koala bears aren’t originated from a parallel world called Koalawalaland.
