I just discovered a blog chock full of interviews with animation artists. Fulle Circle Productions is hosted by student Jason E. Anders, who is particularly enamored of the Spumco/John K. crowd, including Katie Rice, Kristy Gordon, Eddie Fitzgerald, Fred Osmond, Kali Fontecchio, and Nick Cross. The interviews are in-depth and there’s a generous smattering of original artwork. Definitely worth adding to any blogroll.

The Many Moods of Bill (William) Wray

Many of you know Bill Wray from his outrageously masterful artwork for Ren and Stimpy and Samurai Jack. But he has a completely independent career as a fine artist, creating subtle and moody oil paintings inspired by Masters of American Illustration like N.C. Wyeth and J.C. Leyendecker. He is particularly fond of industrial landscapes. A selection of his paintings is currently on exhibit at the Segil Fine Art gallery in Monrovia, California, through August 9th.
