Moving Pictures
Illustrator James Yang explores the idea that illustrators “can live anywhere” because they don’t have “a real job”. It’s a globe-trotting look at artists and how they create on the move. Part One interviews James Yang (of course), Hanoch Piven (Israel), Michael Bartalos and Fernanda Cohen (United States).
You can watch the entire video here. Also featured are Nate Williams (Argentina), Monika Aichele (Germany), Ingo Fast (Germany), and Laurie Rosenwald (United States).
And P.S.: Hanoch Piven is speaking tonight at the Society of Illustrators in NYC at 6 PM. Tomorrow he is conducting a hands-on workshop at Materials for the Arts (fully booked, alas!) And then onto Toms River, New Jersey!
